Saturday Food Distribution Details
Well in the Desert sponsors a weekly food distribution program, to supplement families with groceries, alleviating at least some of the financial burden for our friends and neighbors.
Our food distribution site is located at:
181 N. Indian Canyon Drive
Palm Springs, CA 92262
Distribution occurs weekly - Saturdays at 6:00 a.m.
Most of our guests line up by 5:00 a.m.
Bring a box, bags or other containers to transport the food items.
You must be registered to partake of the food distribution.
Pre-registration is recommended, by calling our office at (760) 656-8905.
Details and extenuating circumstances can be discussed over the phone.

The USDA supports and regulates our program, so we must follow their rules at all times.
USDA PREREQUISITES for participation in our program
You must have a residence with refrigeration and hot cooking available
You must present an ID for all people in the home, or the ones for which food will be collected
USDA FINANCIAL ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES
*As a reference, a one-person household is $1860 per month/$22311 per year.
*Emergency boxes are available as a once in a lifetime occurrence…after the first one, we expect people to go to the Saturday program.
*Home delivery is available on an extremely limited basis…to qualify for home delivery, one must be certified, by a physician, as home bound.
