The Well in the Desert Hunger assaults our Dignity, Dissipates our Energy and Drive, Destabilizes our Community and Shackles our Potential as People and a Society to Achieve

Bank of America

The Well in the Desert wishes to thank the Bank of America for its generous donation of $5,000. Thanks to the efforts of Jim Bruner and Christy Gordon the difficult time of summer and dwindling donations were offset by their help.

Swank Audio Visuals

Founded in 1937, Swank Audio Visuals is a successful, growing business headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. Swank Audio Visuals serves and supports the meeting and event industry. Our in-house operation partners with many prominent hotels in over 50 major cities and 30 states across the United States as well as Canada and Mexico.

The Morongo Band of Mission Indians

The Morongo Band of Mission Indians sponsored Thanksgiving 2007 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. Their donation helped make the holiday special for over 750 people. Many thanks to our good neighbors to the West who make their generosity felt throughout communities far and wide.

Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians

The Well in the Desert wishes to thank the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians for its ongoing support of the Well and the programs and services we provide to our community. We thank our friends for their check of $5,000.00 on their annual day of giving, and for their continued support as sponsor of our Christmas Dinner at the Palm Springs Convention Center. We thank them now and always.

The Auen Foundation

We thank our wonderful friends at the Auen Foundation for their continued support of the Well. Their $15,000 donation for 2008 makes our job of providing for those less fortunate a lot easier than would be without them. They are "the wind beneath our wings".
