Well in the Desert Annual Fool's Folly Jiminy Cricket 2013. A heartwarming celebration honoring those who give generously of their time and talents. It's a celebration for all who give throughout the year, helping to feed the hungry. It does take a community to help. Thanks to Arlene and her board who ask those with abundance to help those less fortunate.

Well in the Desert Annual Christmas Dinner at the Convention Center 2012
Dear Santa made his annual trip to Palm Springs to deliver lots of good cheer and presents for the children, the young at heart,seniors and a few pets. It was a great success as we shared a delicious dinner with almost 1900 people, many more than last year. Everyone benefited from the generosity of the good-hearted people who donated their time,talent,money,gifts,vo lunteers,donors and of course our fearless leader Arlene and her board who make sure everything flows with ease. There were a lot of smiling faces and happy well fed children.

aff and generous supporters of Well in the Desert. This year we were able to honor those who provide not just financial support but hold us in their hearts as well. The tribal chairs from the Cabazon, Morongo, Agua Caliente and the Augustine band of Indians were recognized for their service. We were honored by Congressman Raul Ruiz who stopped by to help serve food and get to know his constituents. It was another chance to be thankful for all we have and have to give.

Cornucopia
Amazing music was to be heard at the third annual Cornucopia at the Michael H. Lord Gallery. a good cause at the Michael H. Lord Gallery. The annual Cornucopia event benefits the Well in the Desert and is a wonderfully intimate event where the gallery acoustics make the sound unbelievably clear and the performance up close. Very exciting.
Fantasy Cupcake Competition
Unbelievable event, exquisitely laid out room, delicious cupcakes. The staff at Fantasy Springs who put this together outdid themselves. Oh my goodness, a sweet tooth's fantasy come true. There were so many beautiful, tasty treats that it was a challenge to stop eating at 100. The best part of the Challenge was seeing how families came together to support each other and Well in the Desert. It was a wholesome family oriented competition that was delicious and lots of fun and what a huge turnout!

Evening Under the Stars.
Lovely evening outside at the Miramonte Resort. Great food, music and comraderie was enjoyed by all.
The 2012 Fool's Folly, "Follow the Yellow Brick Road to Fools Folly" was a smashing success. Guests arrived to champagne spritzers and the piano music of Gale Enger, and bot busy bidding on the silent auction items. The room was once again sold out and guests came from all over the valley. The Visionary Awards, given to St. Paul's in the Desert and the Bob Hope Classic (now Humana), were given with great thanks for what both groups have done for the Well over many years. The lunch was delicious and everyone enjoyed the music provided by two glorious Opera singers and Pianist Victoria Kirsch. It was a great day for the Well, and everyone left filled with the knowledge that they had helped raise money for the many food programs the Well has for those in need.
