CORNUCOPIA, "From Classic to Contemporary" on Sunday, 11/13/2011 at the Michael H. Lord Gallery in Palm Springs was once again a fabtastuc evebt, It featured an afternoon of music of different genres to benefit Well in the Desert and was hosted by Opera Arts and Michael Lord Gallery. It featured Emcee & pianist Dr. Stewart Gordon, Jazz Pianist Dennis Thurmond, Singers Paul MacKey, Dela Zimmer and Judy Deertrack, and Piano Virtuoso Giorgi Latsabidze.

The Walking Tour of the Inns on December 8, 2011 was a huge success for the Well in the Desert. Thanks to Jay Ramstead who is in charge of this yearly event, and Board member Damir Donlagic, who coordinated our involvement with Jay, we received hundreds of toys and some cash donations for food. This years’ event shared toys with Toys for Tots. We are pleased to announce that the event next year will have the Well as its main recipient.

Wednesday, December 14, 2011
The December 14th LIT Lounge show featured Well supporter Brian Nova and trio with guest jazz singer Mizzoni Lanza. The music was over the top and no one wanted it to end. Many who attended got up and danced and the mood was very festive. The buffet was delicious as it always is, and money was raised for the food programs of the Well in the Desert. The LIT Lounge is the best lounge in town!
